Job Summary

The Sales Clerk is responsible for recording transactions related to sales, accounts receivable and cash receipts accurately and thereby assisting with the maintenance of accurate financial records.  The Sales Clerk is also responsible for communicating with internal and external parties related to sales, accounts receivable, cash collection and cash receipts.


Primary responsibilities

  • Recording sales invoices and cash receipts in QuickBooks
  • Updating Salesforce regarding accounts receivable activity
  • Distributing sales invoices and receipts to members and sponsors
  • Tracking the aging of accounts receivable
  • Communicating with the CLSA primary contact regarding aged receivables
  • Communicating directly with certain members and sponsors regarding aged receivables to facilitate payment
  • Other duties as assigned

Background and Experience

  • Minimum of one to three years of work experience, preferably in a directly-related field
  • Good verbal, written and digital communication skills
  • Good organization and/or project management experience
  • QuickBooks and Salesforce knowledge and/or experience a plus
